is it from Dacula to Marietta?

I know I can get the info from mapquest, however, they don't take traffic into consideration, and they can be off depending on the speed limits, right? lol

We saw a job opportunity for the hubby in MArietta, however, we really like the way Dacula sounds (for living). We like living in an area totally family-oriented, with tons of athletic and extra curricular activities, not to mention, lots of restaurants, stores, hospitals and all conveniences very near by...and lots of parks, etc

Depends on exactly where in Marietta, since some parts of Marietta can be 15+ miles away from each other and further away. Without traffic, you're probably looking at about 45 min or so to get to Dacula from many parts of Marietta. It could be less, especially from parts of East Cobb that are close to I-285, and it could be more, especially from West Cobb and places in East Cobb further away from I-285.

Check one of the map sites like Bing Maps or Mapquest and you can see exactly how far and how long it would be from any given point in Marietta to a point in Dacula.

I know nothing about Dacula, so maybe I'm off base here, but it hasn't previously been described as a uniquely desirable place to live. If you took a job in Marietta, I'm pretty confident you could find a lot of places to live with the features you mention (family oriented, recreational activities, shopping, etc.) with a far shorter commute. Your wish list can be found in Cobb, Cherokee and north Fulton - all much closer to Marietta than Dacula.

All I can say is that I wouldn't want to do that drive. Count on at least 45 minutes each way, probably more.

The drive will be a nightmare. Please don't do it.
