Is this really cool?
We are planning on doing it when we're there in December.
Do we need to get there early in the morning, or early afternoon and stay all day?

Any info, experience, would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The night time is when you want to go. That is when all the lights are on and all the great shows, etc. It starts near sundown and continues until, I think, 10 or 11 PM. Plan on spending the entire time there if you want to see all the shows (including the laser show), visit the shops, and have something to eat.

I went there with my parents when they came for Thanksgiving and they loved it. I think you will too. Just be sure to bring some warm clothes, depending on the evening. I can get pretty chilly when you're walking around outdoors.

We went last year and froze our tushies off! Don't waste your time at the song & dance show. Possibly the cheesiest thing I've ever seen, plus the singing and dancing was not good at all.

The kids enjoyed the 4-D movie (short version of Polar Express). We didn't stay for the evening stuff b/c my kids are too small.
