Can we get a list of names that associate with zip codes in the Atlanta area? Some of the neighborhoods overlap into other zip codes and it makes finding homes or places to live quite hard. Also people are talking about places like Brookhaven, Vinings, Virginia Highland etc. and it's hard to find these place as they are all apart of Atlanta N Fulton /Metro.

These are the areas that I am looking for the names of. I use google earth so they don't display the proper/common names

30305
30327
30342
30319
30328
30338
30346

30305 Atlanta (Buckhead)
30327 Buckhead, Atlanta, Unicoporated Fulton County
30342 Buchead, Atlanta, Unincoporated Fulton County
30319 Unicorporated DeKalb -- vast majority, unicoportate Fulton, City of ATlanta
30328 Sandy Springs
30338 Dunwoody
30346 New zip code for all housing going up at perimeter center -- is it part of dunwoody? depends on who you ask... some fulton most DeKalb.

Does this help?

30305 is the center of buckhead by the tourist/club district
30342 is like 5 miles north of that up roswell road...i'm not 100% positive
30319 is just south of perimiter mall on ashford dunwoody road, possibly even up to peachtree industrial area
can't you search the zip codes and get very detailed info, i know in the phone book it shows all the areas and zips on a map...

i'm pretty sure peachtree hills/garden hills is 30309 or 30305

here's a trick...search the yellow pages for those names and you will see things like "peachtree hills dry cleaners" or "peachtree hill branch of the library"

you can also call or email local libraries and their reference desk has full time staff who can look it up

once you see the yellow page listing, it will show the zip code and map it on yahoo or google

Default There must be a map online...

I haven't found this sort of thing yet--I did find this link>>>
Moderator cut: realtor website

You can click on each zip code and it gives you a description of the area.

Maybe someone involved in real estate will know of a better way.
