CrimeMapping.com is now working with GCPD. Not sure if yall have seen this site before but its pretty cool. You can enter an address and then crime in the area will show up on the map. Real easy to use.

Crime Mapping - Welcome!

Good tool for anyone, especially those wondering "is this a safe neigborhood?"

Interesting but very sobering as well. The numbers for my given area were outrageous and I wouldn't have even realized it.

I was actually very pleasantly surprised by where I live! 30044 gets a bad rep, but there wasn't a lot of activity. The further west you go the worse it gets.

Also, there is a very noticeable difference between Dekalb and Gwinnett.

I didn't even realize Dekalb was on there. Maybe Atlanta will sign up soon. As you can see there's not many PDs around the country on here yet. Still in the very early ages.

The other thing I'm not sure of is what happens if the city police make the arrest? Wonder if that shows up.

Fantastic website, I'm pleased to see that 30045 has very little crime, that's good news for a homebuyer.

Don't forget the the areas served by Suwanee PD, Norcross PD, Duluth PD, and Lawrenceville PD will not be on the map, therefore accounting for some of the "blank" areas where there don't appear to be any crimes.

By far the best is Gwinnett County Mugshots
This provides daily activity along with the charges, addresses, and photos
For example, the 307 arrests in Gwinnett last week are on this site.

I love this one too! I get an email every morning around 7:30 with a picture of everyone who calls my zip code home that was arrested the day before.
