LOL....I wonder how many people who just moved into the city or live in the suburbs will come in disagree with this one. Its funny how the people born and raised in Atlanta have been saying this for some years now, this city is safer than it has ever been.

Well the Forbes definition of "safe" isn't what most people who disagree with Atlanta being "safe" think of. Violent crime is only one of 4 criteria which are aggregated for the score. Workplace fatalities, traffic deaths, and exposure to natural disasters are the other. Places on the East (storms) and West (earthquakes) coats get severely hit on the natural disaster rating.

They say the safest large city. In all actuality they are talking about the whole Atlanta metro area. Would like to see the city. Take the Baltimore area for example, safer than the Atlanta area but Baltimore City itself
Well, last time I checked it had a higher crime rate than Atlanta City
