Im doing my homework before my move to ga an im hearing athens is a great place to start an it's not as expensive as in norcross or lawerenceville an ect is this true? an how are the schools, (high schools) apartment prices 3 bedrooms? an are they things to do there? how are the jobs there far as customer service,light industral, an cna goes?

The unemployment rate in Athens is lower than Georgia's average. There are some manufacturing locations in Athens. Cost of living is definitely lower. The newspaper for Athens is onlineathens.com. (onlineathens dot com, incase the URL does not come up.) It have job listings as well. Check out UGA emplyment as well. People live either in Clarke county (Athens), or in some of the neighbouring counties (depending on school and other reasons). Athens is usually discussed on the Georgia forum, not the Atlanta forum. Athens is 50-70 miles from Atlanta metro.
