What is there to do for kids in this area?
Bowling, mini golf, etc.
Anything close by other than the Mall and Chuck E Cheese?
Thanks.

There is a bowling alley in Buford, near the Golden Corral on GA 20.

Dacula-There's Stars and Strikes off of 316. It also has laser tag. If you are looking for Gymnastics, Karate, Ballet, or even Piano lessons, check out Dacula Family Sports. The prices are reasonable and the class offerings are huge. In Dacula there are a bunch of parks. Most of the parks can be found on the south side of 316 in the Archer Cluster. Also, the south side of Dacula is close to Grayson, which offers several family activities as well. The north side of Dacula has Kid Village, which offers Monkey Joes (inflatables), Swim Atlanta, and numerous other activities.

Here are some things off the top of my head:
1) Skate Country in Buford
2) Lake Lanier Islands/Water Park just north of Buford in the southern part of Hall County
3) The fountain in Suwanee Town Center Park. Suwanee also has several miles of bike and walking trails on the Suwanee Creek greenway, as well as Playtown Suwanee playground.
4) Near the Mall of Georgia there is a place called Nexgym which is an interactive kids fitness center.
5) Interactive Neighborhood for Kids (INK) in Gainesville (about 25 minutes north of Buford), which is a kids museum that has a pretend grocery store, bank, hair salon, full size police car, plane, and all kinds of stuff for kids to do. They can pretend to scan groceries, take pretend money out of an ATM, etc. My kids love it...
6) McDaniel Farm Park in Duluth has historical and farm related activities on a regular basis.
7) Gwinnett Environmental Center in Buford
8) Elachee Nature Center in Hall County
9) 500,000 acres of National Forest in North Georgia, with camping, hiking, waterfalls, etc.
10) All of the things to do in Atlanta, including the Aquarium, Fernbank, World of Coke, CNN, Centennial Park, Piedmont Park, Center of Puppetry Arts

If I think of more I'll post them.

Great Athletic Association up here for the kids. We are also members over at Dacula Family Sports. The kids love Monkey Joes, Scoops is fun to go to for a treat, or run over to Dacula Kids Village, get an ice cream at Ben and Jerry's and let the kids play on the playground right ouside.

And another vote for INK-a little bit of a drive but beats driving downtown to the kids museum down there.

We love Dacula!
