Um, Didn't you used to, or presently live in Lawrenceville? I've read several of your posts before.

Go by school Districts in all of metro atlanta - not zip codes or town names.

So here we go for Lawrencevile: Archer, Mountainview (both new and in nice areas); Brookwood (great); Dacula (good); Peachtree Ridge (Discover Mills area - good).

Some metro school districts, like Cobb County, are fairly large (18 high schools) and quite varied. That doesn't narrow things down in any meaningful way, at least in that county (unless you're talking about the Marietta school district which has a single high school).

I think by "school districts" mrdkb really meant high school attendance zones, since his examples are all Gwinnett county high schools.

30044 feeds into the Brookwood cluster. That is where you want to focus your search.

Yes, I agree...that's what mrdkb meant. In the unincorporated mass that is most of suburban Atlanta, high school attendance zones function like incorporated "towns/cities" that exist in most of other suburban areas in U.S. metros.

Oh, okay. That would make more sense.

All three zip codes are pretty big, and encompass a lot of area.

The most desirable parts of 30044 would be zoned for the Brookwood High cluster. 30043 would be Peachtree Ridge, Collins Hill, and Mill Creek. 30045 would be Grayson and Dacula I believe. Do you know what your price range? Where do you work? Those things are big factors in that. I believe that you live off of Sugarloaf now, so the 30045 zip code would probably be the closest for you.
