While most restaurants around Atlanta are closed on Christmas Day, there are a few staying open to serve feasts to those avoiding the stress of cooking a big holiday meal at home or who simply don’t celebrate the day but want to partake in a turkey dinner. This is going to sound like the craziest thing but generally on Thanksgiving and Christmas, I go to The Iron Skillet @ Petro (Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy @ I-285 on the west side of Atlanta)

They have excellent food during the Holidays.
