Lake Spivey Area is where I live and Clayton State University is where I go to school. The school board has failed tremendously and those areas that you mentioned are always overlook. People think that Clayton as a whole is bad, however the Lake Spivey Area along with the Golf Course are just as good as some of the communities in the northern suburbs. People who never been to that part of Clayton do not realize that. My parents neighborhood in particular has never experienced any theft or criminal related issues. I will admit that Clayton County is the worst in the metro. Mainly all of the horrible things happen on the south and west end of the county.
It's just embarrassing and disgusting to always be the county on the news when every other county is improving and we are regressing.
