I would like to know what the job market is like in Atlanta and the surrounding areas? I was curious as I would one day relocate to ATL. Any advice is appreciated.

Bad but getting better very slowly. Unemployment has stabilized and even gone down in some counties such as Cobb, but a lot will depend on your field, experience, and education. Manufacturing, construction, and low skill work is in less demand, but some encouraging signs are retail stores such as Target advertising and hiring even after Christmas.

It also depends on your trade... Certain fields are more needed than others, whereas certain ones are not as strong at the moment.

If you are associated with the construction field it blows...architecture, developing, engineering, construction etc it all blows.

Are there any jobs in accounting? I have 7 years of accounting experience but my degree is in business administration.
