hey y'all
am a canadian thinking of moving to atlanta or anywhere better in the usa from toronto, am just wandering where in the usa will be a good idea? am used to the city life, i would wanna know how the auto industry is down there because am an auto dealer, i would wanna know how easy could it be to get a social work job? i just wanna know if moving from toronto to the usa is a good idea and why?

It depends on your reason for moving away. Toronto consistently ranks as one of the most livable, beautiful, culturally vibrant cities in the world and it will probably be hard to rank many other cities above it on criteria other than affordability and average temperature. What is it about Toronto you want to leave behind and what is it you want to find elsewhere?

If by 'social work job' you mean public health care job, Atlanta is definitely a good choice. There are a lot of public health-related jobs here.

But if you mean social work in any other context, the job market is terrible. Pay is low as well. Also, getting a work permit in a social work field will be very difficult.
