Very difficult to say as there are so many factors. My auto insurance is $600 for a 2007 Honda. Homeowner's (4br house) is $500.

With the flooding there lately, I wonder if those figures will change?

Only if your in an area that could potentially flood. Our house is in a location where, if we were flooded, the entire metro area would have to be under probably 100' of water, so I highly dobt our rates will be affected.

My condo is $279 a yr with alternations cov of $50k, $300k liab etc. Couldn't find anything cheaper at my renewal.

Car insurance will vary with many factors including if you live in the city or suburbs.
