SO and I are having a difficult time making a decision between Sandy Springs (30350 area) and East Roswell. I am leaning more towards Sandy Springs and SO is more for E. Roswell. Both areas are great but I still feel a little uneasy about the traffic on Holcomb Bridge in E. Roswell. I've received excellent advice which has improved my opinion of the E. Roswell area (thanks rackensack!!). . .but I am still not sure if it is the right place for us.

Anyway, I have decided to redirect my attention to the elementary and middle schools in each area. If we choose Sandy Springs, then our options would be Dunwoody Springs (or Woodland Charter)/Sandy Springs. . . and River Eves/Holcomb Bridge in E. Roswell.

I would like to hear from parents who have experienced the schools. I am drawn to River Eves elementary and Sandy Springs middle. But that will not work because they are two different zones . So, I really need help with this because next month we have to begin our home search.

So, if possible please share your experiences/knowledge. Also, what can I expect from the Sandy Springs charter schools that may not be offered at the E. Roswell schools?

Thanx so much

I live in 30350 and just got in to Woodland Elementary in the lottery as Dunwoody Springs really wasn't an option for us due to the large transient community. We are still holding out for private schools.
