We will be moving from CT shortly and are curious as to where the furniture stores are and if there are good prices?

Not sure about stores but Craigslist has some good prices on used furniture. Look me up if you need a competent home inspector in the metro Atlanta area.

There are furniture stores/ home accessory stores all over north ATL.
If you can narrow what type of furniture you'll be looking for- that would help.

Just off the top of my head-
Macy's
Rooms to Go
Ashley's
Decorating Center (Alpharetta)
Outragous Furniture (a division of Outragous Bargains)
Dalton Furniture Outlet (in Dalton, GA)

Bungalow Home on Howell Mill Road in Atlanta is fantastic!
To be honest - I usually shop the stores and then call the factories in North Carolina to see if they can beat the prices... and usually they can if you are looking for Thomasville, Basset, etc. lines.

I cannot sing the praises of Macy's Furniture Store (Perimeter Mall) loudly enough...trust me when I say I have covered some ground in this area, and I keep coming back to them for the best quality and the best deal.
Ask for Linda Neely when you go there. She is such a pro.
