No. Would I wander around there alone at 3:00 A.M. with a wad of cash hanging out of my pocket?...no. But L5P mostly not a problem. They do have their share of homeless people/runaways hanging out in the central plaza. However, they are pretty much harmless. L5P has some cool shops and restaurants, and it's generally just a fun place to see, so I'd recommend it. Make sure to check out the Junkman's Daughter. It's a bit of an icon.

Its a very neat area and no need to worry about safety, it feels more like a small village then the big city.

You will have a blast and enjoy it! I believe that area also has one of the lowest violent crime rates in the city. I love Little 5 Points it's a great neighborhood.
