I want to buy a 1 or 2 bed condo in a high rise building in Buckhead. I was thinking the Terminus building since it has amazing rooms. What do you think? I'm a little worried because it is expensive and has high HOA (40 cents per sq ft).

Will this be a huge pain later on to resell?

Some of these other people could provide you better information, but in my opinion its not worth to buy in the Terminus right now. Its extremely expensive and from what i understand its basically a vacant building. I actually was surprised the HOA is that low. My guess is the builder is taking a loss on the HOA and once/if they get over 80% or whatever occupancy you will see the HOA go up.

Since you are looking at buying in th Terminus, I assume you have a good size budget and should have your choice of high rises in Buckhead. With that budget you can get a nice and less risky building in town. Have you considered the Paramount, Paces 325, Eclipse, or some of the other newer condos in buckhead?

Good luck

Thanks for the reply. I have seen those buildings. But none of them are quite on the same level as the Terminus building. My only worry is that I might be overpaying for the unit. I know they slashed prices $100K on one beds but its still very very expensive and I don't know how hard it will be to resell in 7 years.

Have had more challenges reselling one bedrooms than two bedrooms. Most people need a home office these days.
