I think a light rail would help the Cumberland area. I remember a lot of folks protesting about the Dunwoody MARTA station opening up and now look how that's turned out. Also, a lot of corporate headquarters and regional offices headed towards the Perimeter Center and that helped the area grow a LOT. The Cumberland/Vinings area is definitely beautiful and personally, I'd prefer to preserve Vinings in the state it currently is. That's what makes it so nice.

I would like to see a light rail 'loop' one day through the Cumberland/Vinings area (would be better if it hooked up to a heavy rail line in Cobb. Of course, that is one of many mass-transit daydreams cooked up in my head.
