I'm looking for a place to rent for my twins upcoming first birthday party. We will have 30 or so family members and will be moving house the same month, so we can't do it at our house. It will be mostly adults with only 3-4 very young children, so I don't think chuck-e-cheese or similar would work well. What we really need is a big room we can rent for around 4 hours for a reasonable cost (around 100 dollars or less would be great). Does anyone know of anything like this?

Hey, I am looking for the same thing for a three year old's party - just a place to hold a party - with me bringing all the food, entertainment and games. I cannot beleive it's so hard.
I'll post if I find something.
All I've come up with is possibly renting a tent. Someone recommended to me that I call around to some apartment complexes, churches or activity centers to see if they rent their community halls.

We held our daughter's party at the Smyrna Community Center (great new and clean building) and brought in all of the food. The place comes with plenty of seating and tables and the staff is helpful. Building is right next to the library near the Market Village. The fee is ridiculously low...I think $25 if you live in Smyrna.
As far as restaurants go, you won't be able to rent a place for $100 but I've been to several parties at Blue Moon Pizzeria and they've all been a lot of fun.
Another kids option is Kanga Zoom on Atlanta Road.

Atkins Park has a nice back room. Four hours may be a little long but the room is large enough for big parties to stand for a while for drinks and appetizers before sitting down to eat.
