I am possibly moving to the Atlanta area because my job could be relocating. I am trying to figure out where would be a good area to start to look for apartments/rentals. I am 23 years old, single- no children, and a female, so I want something that is pretty safe- I also want to be somewhat close to Tucker- where the office is- but still somewhere that is "city"/urban like. My price range is under $950. I plan on commuting. Anybody know where I should start my search?

Default Safe and affordable

I used to live in Sandy Springs, which is a great central location in Atlanta. You are not far from the city and ALL the jobs. You are near the BEST shopping and restaurants, it's very affordable and safe. I lived in Glen Lake Apartments for a year for a one bedroom it was $700 very spacious and roomy. They are going through upgrades so it is possible the rent is going up. Nothing ever broke so I can not quote maintenance. The ONLY problem I had which had nothing to do with community was that the power went out like once a month??? Never figured out why, it was very annoying. Again not the complex's doing. So checkout it they in a small corner that is seclude and nice!
