I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Faith Luthern School in Marietta or if anyone has heard anything about it. I'm considering looking at this school for my son. Thanks.

I looked at it for one of my children a few years ago. They have a transitional kindergarten which I liked very much. We did not chose it as the day was too long for my child but I was impressed with the school. I did look at it for long term as well so I did sit in on a 2nd grade classroom. It isn't a fancy facility but the teachers seemed very dedicated and I liked the curriculum. The cost was very good compared to some other schools I'd had looked at.

A year or two later socially I met one of the teachers who I like very much. She is an extremely qualified with many years of experience.

Default Faith Lutheran School is outstanding

I have 2 children at Faith and highly recommend it. The school expects hard work and commitment from the kids but in return gives them encouragement, structure and love. The classes are small (anywhere form 15 to 20 kids per class, some maybe a little larger) and the school is small enough where everyone knows everyone. Your child will become very familiar with many teachers and administrators (and vice versa). As a result, the environment is very safe and secure. Faith is like my children's extended family. Academically, our children have excelled because we knew right away what we needed to work on at home and were given ideas how to improve in certain areas. There is a wonderful partnership between parents & teachers. When you first visit Faith you might come away thinking that the facility is not as fancy as other private schools in the area. What you find out, however, is that the teachers and spirit of the school outshine a fancy facility or sign. The school building is very new and has plenty of classroom space and computer lab and library. The school also has a brand new playing field in the back and has improved its playgounds. I would encourage that you take a tour of the school during school hours to see how the children and the teachers & staff interact. It was the perfect choice for us!
