Anyone heard updates on when this Super H (Doraville) will be opening. I thought I had previously heard about them opening July 2009. Looks like a Labor Day opening doesn't seem realistic...

I heard a revised date of October/November 2009. But then, I was like you, I was waiting for it to open July 2009.

Well, I finally visited the Super H in Doraville about two weeks ago. It seems to be noticeably smaller than the location in Riverdale with not as many eateries. Doraville location produce section was decent. Meat/fish section gets the same grade of decent. Its still a nice addition to have in the area but I was expecting it to be a bit larger.

I've never been to the Super H stores. What type of ready made foods to they have there? Do they sell things like Dim Sum? Thanks!

One more question, are they fairly clean?

I went to the Super H in Riverdale to see how the store compared and quite honestly found I like several of the international markets around town more. The food court is what I've heard people rave about and it seemed just ok to me. I would go back but would put Buford Highway Farmers Market and Dekalb Farmers Market higher on my list.

Yes, they are clean for an asian grocery store. You actually don't mind getting lost in there for an hour.

Based on what folks are saying about the Doraville one, if you are looking for ready made foods, you might want to head up to the the Duluth store.
