Your best bet is to move into a house as a roommate. I got lucky. I moved into a 3 Bedroom house where I have the master bedroom with a bathroom, two roommates, okay neighborhood in Marietta, and flat price for rent. I pay 82 a week (down from the 92 a week because I help with yard work).

Read the following, answer the questions with as much detail as you can, and then start a new thread with your answers posted besides the questions so that the very-helpful posters on the Atlanta forum can help guide in the right direction.

That's because just saying that you need someplace that is cheap is too broad of an inquiry in a large metro region that is home to over 6 million inhabitants and encompasses over 30 counties in North Georgia.

Helpful Tip,
For all of those about to move or thinking about moving to the Atlanta metro area, in order for us to better assist you and for you to get more responses please provide us with as much of the following information as possible in your initial post please:

1. Budget
2. House/Condo/Townhome?
3. Employment Status(commute/work from home)
4. Children(public school vs. private)
5. Suburban or Urban lifestyle preference or a mix of the two
6. Easy access to public transit, important or not?
7. Preferable demographics of desired neighborhood.

These are just a few off the top of my head, feel free to add more.
Looking forward to helping you out.

Born 2 Roll.
