I am a medical technologist and my husband an ER nurse, we are anticipating moving to GA. I am concerned about commute times and also the job prospect in our professions. Any Med Techs or nurses that can give me info I'd appreciate it.

Read the sticky thread at the top of the forum, about moving.

If you don't have jobs lined up yet, why would you be anticipating "commuting from Lawrenceville to Atlanta"? The usual advice here, especially since Atlanta commuter traffic is bad, is to find jobs first, then find a place to live that provides a reasonable commute to your workplace.
