The bus stop should be fun. What a winter!

When I left Cherokee County at 5:30, it didn't know what it wanted to do- it was a rainy/flaky mix. As I hit the 575/75 interchange, it was snowing like mad- huge flakes, and lots of them. By the time I got to downtown Atlanta at 6:10, it was nothing but a light rain.

Should be an interesting day, to say the least.

My kids were so upset with the lack of a snow day. Maybe early release?

Nothing but flurries here in West Cobb. Forecast is for the temps to be much too warm (and the roads are also way to warm) for any real accumulations, and the front is moving through pretty fast.

Bob:

It is still snowing like crazy in Cherokee County. I canceled a meeting this morning because I didn't want to drive in it.

And now it is starting to stick (on the ground anyway). I'm kinda surprised they didn't pre-emptively cancel schools in Cherokee today.

All snow here in Johns Creek now. We'll see how long it lasts. I keep hearing different reports from the forecasters. Like that's a surprise!!!

Snowing in West Cobb, but nothing much on the roads. They're just too warm. There's a little building up on rooftops and grass, but that seems to be it. Typical big wet flakes that you get when the low level temps are above freezing.

Starting to accumulate on the roads here in Milton. My son just ran out for his classes at GSU, and wiped out on our steep driveway. We've learned to park down on the street with any hint of winter weather.

At this point, I hope there is no early release. The thought of a bunch of HS kids leaving the campus en masse is scary.
