Me and my wife are coming to atlanta on the weekend of April 16th to look at some of your beautiful homes in Atlanta so I wanted to know which hotel would be the best one to stay at. My choices are The Ellis on Peachtree , Hotel Palomar Atlanta Midtown - a Kimpton Hotel , or The Glenn Hotel .Keep in mind we are a young couple in our twenties so I wanted to see which one would be a better fit.

Palomar will put you in Midtown which will have a few more choices for entertainment. I believe the dogwood festival at Piedmont park is also that weekend and you could walk there from the Palomar.

And a third vote for the Palomar!

I have yet to see a Kimpton Hotel I didn't really like.

You should know that Druid Hills (just east of Midtown) is having their Tour of Homes that weekend.

First of all, I love Kimptom hotels.

My husband has been "living" at the Palomar for awhile now and I went down to look at houses. The location is great, the food at Pacci fabulous (it was too cold for the rooftop bar) and I like the complimentary wine in the early evening. Very nice to sit by the fire and unwind after looking at dozens of houses.

Hey PalFisch, job well done. The buzz about your hotel is stellar so far in the ATL community.
