I know, I was driving and thought, hmm, what if 1 day some freak engineered evil poison ivy pollen that would make us all have rashes in the summer or something O_o.

Normally I pop a Zyrtec D and I'm fine.

This year? I'm nursing a newborn and all long acting meds and anything with a decongestant is a no-no, b/c it can dry up a woman's breastmilk.

Soooo....this leaves me with Benadryl, saline drops, and Clear Eyes eyedrops. The things we do for our kids...

Oh--I saw the pollen cloud today too driving into the city. Madness. I can't wait until this is OVER!

It's terrible for me! I'm about to rub my eyes out of my head! I was outside for a little bit and a sizable amount of pollen collected on my glasses. Craziness! It seems like all of the trees just dumped their pollen at the same time.

Me. Actually, in our family of 5, three of us have have no reaction to it at all, and my youngest only has marginal symptoms. Middle son is on Singulair and an inhaler all season long.

The worst part of this pollen mess for me is the inability to open the windows. Tonight is a perfect evening for letting some cool air in, but the film on the inside of the house makes it not worth turning off the air conditioning.

Rarely. I got allergy shots as a teenager. Allergy season affects me a little if the season is really bad, but not much and most years not at all. Even in a bad season, just maybe a runny nose for a day or so - nothing too bad.

Rapid barometric pressure changes here in Atlanta from season changes affect me a lot more. I'm not used to that - doesn't happen like that in the Northeast.

Neither my wide nor I have much if any symptoms. My eyes are slightly itchy today, but that could also be because I've only had 8-9 hours of sleep the past two nights.
