Could anyone tell me about Norcross? what sort of community is it? I will be looking to move to the are in about ayear or less. My spouse will be working in buckhead, but not during normal business hours. I will probably be working in buckhead or in midtown. We are late 20's, early 30's. Hoping to find a nice 2 bedroom for under $850 a month if possible. We want to be in a safe and clean area. Thank you!

The town center or 'Historic Norcross' is very safe but I'm not certain you could rent there in your price range.

The western side of Norcross includes Peachtree Corners and this is a good area. Along Holcomb Bridge Rd you might find housing in your price range--townhomes or condos for rent.

Honestly if you are working in Buckhead and/or Midtown, Norcross isn't exactly convenient to either. Imo, you would have a 45 min/1 hr commute each way daily.

You might consider searching the Tucker area.

There are some very sketchy areas in Norcross. Don't rent sight unseen! I agree with the above suggestion re: Holcomb Bridge Rd., but even some of those can be a little iffy. Visit in person. I think that the 30092 zip code is more desirable than the rest.

Here's my suggestion: try the N Druid Hills area. It's a much more convenient area (and right next to Buckhead), and I've seen some apartment deals around there that would fit your budget.

Briar Hill Apartments - Home

Sloan Square Apartments - Luxury Apartments in Atlanta

Yes, do what LovinD said.

The North Druid Hills Area would be perfect for y'all...convenient to Buckhead...and Midtown.

And for the record--if you are dead-set on Norcross, look in the Peachtree Corners part of Norcross or Historic Norcross.
