Anyone have any good recommendations for an excellent boarding facility for a large dog in or near Decatur? And while we are at it, can anyone recommend a vet nearby?

Thanks!

I can only recommend Lithonia Animal Hospital on Rock Chapel Road. They were recommended by the previous owners of our home. We just brought our cat there that was attacked by something horrible, with a fever of 106. They immediately brought him into surgery and have been nursing him along when I didn't think he would make it.

I did notice they board animals there too, I think it was $16 per day for dogs over 100 pounds, I will board both my dogs there when I go on vacation.

Camp Woof is in Decatur, located on Dekalb Industrial Way. I've never used them, so I can't vouch.

I second Wagalot. They're not the cheapest (about 32 bucks a night), but your pooch will get 12 hours of playtime every day!
