The large park will be on North Avenue across from the old Sears building (giant red brick structure across from the Ponce Whole Foods). If anything, PH has the benefit of being inbetween VaHi and Inman Park, and this convenience will only be amplified once the Beltline has a trail on it. I think the area is a good investment, but you have to think a little more long term.

I guess the park is in the Old 4th Ward. I am not sure of community lines but in that area they seem to be real close.

Poncey-Highland is the proud home of the vast majority of Freedom Park, the largest park in the City of Atlanta. We are also the home of historic Manuel's Tavern, wild and funky Clermont Lounge and the prestigious Carter Center and Library. We are a small but vibrant, walkable community with every amenity; grocery stores, boutique shops, wide variety of restaurants, a movie theater and wonderful and diverse night life. Our children attend three of Atlanta City Schools best and more rewarded schools. We have an inclusive and welcoming neighborhood association, that last year raised over $200k to install a playground and a community garden in Freedom Park to improve the health and welfare of all our residents and to share with our neighbors in the many surrounding communities of Inman Park, Fouth Ward, Virginia Highlands and all who want to come and play with us. We hope you will visit us soon and often - all are welcome!
