I don't know if MARTA made it known to her that it wants the domain but I think she refuses to give it up and her site gets a lot of hits from Atlanta. At one time she even put a "Hello Atlanta" on her page.

You go girl! Don't give in to the Man!
On my first trip ever to the ITSMARTA website, I happened upon this website and was very upset because MARTA did not own its on website.

The name MARTA is fine.

What they need to do is ditch the 1974 font and ugly orange and yellow color scheme. Adding the blue helped, but it needs a total overhaul.

I am the only one that doesn't like "art" because of the obvious ambiguous/confusing reason?

Besides, mat.com seems to be available...

The older signage on the MARTA system seems to stand the test of time better than the newer signs that have serifs. The MARTA logo itself has that "70's futuristic" look to it. I know that sounds sort of silly, but that's just a personal quirk of mine.
It could be worse...
