Hey,
I've a long stop over in Atlanta Airport(12 hours) and was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of any nearby or easily accessible shopping malls to pass a few hours in and pick up a few gifts??? Thanks!!

There aren't any malls near the airport. The best thing to do is take Marta up to Lenox Mall. It can take a while to take Marta (on average its a 30 minute ride one way) but that is your best option. You could also take Marta to the Arts Station and ride the Atlantic Station shuttle to Atlantic Station which is an outdoor shopping center. There won't be as many options but it would shave a couple of minutes off your trip.

You could take Marta to downtown, get off at 5 points (I think that's the name) there is an underground shopping mall there and it has lots of tourist things plus the World of Coke Museum. I'm assuming the new one isn't open yet.

I'd stick with the Lenox Mall suggestion if you really want to shop. Underground is terrible. The only closer place would be Atlantic Station. There's a nearby Marta station but you'll be doing a lot of lugging (even the Lenox stop has a bit of a walk).
