Hey guys, so I need to be at the ATL airport at 6:15AM. My brother lives in duluth so if we leave there at 5:30AM should that sufficient to get to the airport on time. I looked it up on mapquest and it estimates 40min but i'm not sure how traffic is that early.

Depends on where in Duluth you're starting from, but it's probably about right.

Ahhh good questions both:

Umm....not really sure where in duluth but its right by the best buy. Prescott apartments is where i'll be.

It will be June 1st Tuesday

It looks like on tuesday it does call for some thunderstorms.

I have no idea if lanes are closed or not.

With this little info what do you think?

At that time of day it's a straight shot down I-85 and you shouldn't run into traffic. 45 min to an hour would be a good plan. Better there a few minutes early than running late.....right?

And always account for an accident because more often than not there seems to be at least one. Or even traffic coming to a virtual stop just because a car is pulled over at the shoulder. A good rule of thumb here is to act like you need to be there a good 30 minutes before you actuallly do. So play it liker you need to be there by 5:45. Like someone said better to be early and have some time to play with than late and stressed because of it.

That early in the morning, you won't hit any traffic. Id go by what you get on googlemaps or mapquest.
