I was wondering what free TV channels you can pick up without paying for cable? I live in the city of Atlanta. Right now I don't have cable (I don't watch TV enough to justify paying for it), however does anyone know what channels you can pick up for free? Thanks.

You can pick up about 12 over the air stations but with the digital sub channels you will get about 36 channels. Some of them are crap and a few of them are good. Channel 11-2 has the weather on all the time and others have kids programs and old movies and such.

Antenna TV is on WATL's subcarrier. It's great, they show Maude!

here's a list of those you can get in alpharetta:

http://forum.tvfool.com/attachment.p...7&d=1297614600

it's 50+ channels, most of them are not channels you would get with a cable connection but there are a lot of quality channels from what i understand.

to get this many, you will have to have a roof antenna.
