Note that Sycamore Elementary is right next to a huge dump. You can see it on Google Earth.

I wouldn't get fixated on a particular subdivision before coming out here. Get a good real estate agent and have them drive you around to a bunch of subdivisions in the area you like. Nothing wrong with Providence Crossing, but it is just like so many other subdivisions in the area.

The reason Hwy 20 is so bad at 7:00 is that all the locals are heading out toward the mall of GA restaurants for dinner. If you know the back roads you can avoid a lot of the traffic.

Twinkletoes is right; Providence Crossing is like many other subdivisions in Gwinnett County. There are many others in a similar price range that are probably in better school districts.

2 lane road compared to 8? And if you're off of Hwy 20 how long will your commute be to a major hwy?

We are going out there in a month and a half and we will also be taking a look. Our daughter is 10, entering middle school. We are also looking for cultural diversity, safety and space, adequate jobs and a place to worship. When we go out there, we don't want to have to waste a lot of our agent's time searching areas that lack in any of the afore mentioned reasons for our wanting to move...
