Georgia senator Johnny Isakson visited the $100 million Kroc Center in Harrisburg(August 8th).. He told the mayor Augusta had more construction compared to any city in Georgia..

I think he's dreaming... Atlanta at any given time has more construction going on than Columbus, Macon, Savannah and Augusta combined. Nice gesture though.

Outside if the Atl Metro, I would have thought Savannah would have more going on! But he is the senator so he would know, right?

There is nearly $4 billion in construction going on at Fort Benning alone in the Columbus area.....

I was thinking the exact same thing last night..

I think the comment was based on the population of Augusta compared to Atlanta...
