I'll be in the market soon for a few pcs. of furniture. I've Googled furniture stores in the area but the focus leans WAAAY to far towards faux antique with dark woods and stains. Anyone know of any Scandanavian or Danish styled outlets in the Augusta area? Ikea is in Atlanta and sort of fits my likes but I like to buy local.

Many thanks!

Had similar problem...Went to Ikea in charlotte. We do more shopping up there due to less traffic...

agreed...you might a find a piece or two visiting local stores but every now and then an "ikea run" is needed.

Your best bet is Atlanta. There are many such stores on the right side of highway 85 leaving Atlanta on Access rd. I think you need to take Jimmy Carter Exit. Then there's Ikea in Atlanta. Also you might consider Danco Modern Furniture in Mt Pleasant.
