I wonder with Fort Huachuca having issues with water use and environmental groups filing a lawsuit against the post, will the army decide to close the base and move some of its operations to Fort Gordon.
For those that don't know, this base also is home alot of cyber operations.

While it would be another huge boost to the area, it is doubtful the federal government would add such a high value command to an area that is already home to and will become home to an even greater high value operation, however you never really know what can happen, I mean Fort Gordon is large enough to support the expansion. The only real geographic issue would be Georgia doesn't have a desert ecosystem that mimics current operational conditions, that Arizona provides.
