Hi there,

I and my husband are moving to Augusta, GA next month and are looking for a 2 BR apartment to rent. Can any one suggest the best, safest, quiet and family friendly apartment complex/neighborhood with educated community preferably within ~20 min drive from Georgia regent medical center?

Thanks

If you have a budget in mind that would be helpful, too. And are you wanting to stay in Georgia or is SC acceptable as well? I ask because there are lots of apartments and townhomes in the North Augusta area just across the river in SC as well. Of course that complicates your tax situation having to file an additional state, but it's not that big of a deal.

Hi,

Thank you for all the information and list of apartments. Geet18, I am in the exact same position as you. I will be moving to Augusta and I was wondering if anyone could also recommend good schools for my 5-year old. I am not familiar with Augusta, therefore I would like to know which is the safest and family friendly area to live in, preferably not far from school and driving distance to GRU. Are there any dangerous area in Augusta that we should avoid?

Thank you so much and looking forward to hearing all about Augusta!

GRU_Minion, thanks! My budget is between 700-800...I can go upto 850 max. My 3 top priorities are SAFETY, good educated community and driving distance under 20 min from GRU medical center.
