Jason's Deli will open its first Augusta store in Washington Crossing. This is a texas based chain with locations in Atlanta, Athens and Columbus already. I've never heard of them so if anyone else has please chime in.

Jason's Deli is probably my favorite place for deli sandwiches. They have a good variety of deli sandwiches, deserts, and several other things like large baked potatoes. They advertise organic healthy ingredients. I have a few friends that are addicted to their salad bar. My favorite thing about them is that they have free soft serve ice cream with your meal. The one in Columbus is always really crowded around meal times so it's pretty popular here.

Sounds pretty good! The large baked potatoes remind me of McCallisters. The one here is going in a busy location on Washington Rd so it should do good business there.

There's also one in the Vista in Columbia. I haven't been there in a while, but they are good.
