In 2011 there were 4-5K high tech positions in ARC.. in the Atlanta area there were more than 91K.

I think it will be awhile before Augusta Replaces Atlanta...

The following article is from 2011 and describes a high rate of growth in ARC at that time.

If clearly related to the future, what time frame? 20 years?

The CIO reference is from 2008 and not 2006 as you intimated.

Have you ever heard of percentages? Augusta will never have more high tech jobs compared to Atlanta in terms of raw numbers... The Atlanta metro area is 10 times the size of metro Augusta.

The Cyber Command is coming to Augusta and will definitely impact the high tech market..

The other article is actually from the year 2012 and not 2011. The article indicates Augusta's tech market grew by 82% between 2006/2011 which is the 2nd fastest in the nation..

Have you ever heard of clearly stating your position? The header in your OP boldly states "Augusta will soon replace Atlanta and become the #1 high tech market in Georgia". You have again posted a statement that is disengenious. Please point out where you referenced percentages...

The Cyber Command will affect the Augusta high-tech market, It will not make the Augusta number of high-tech postions exceed those in Atlanta.

The charts that I quoted are clearly labeled 2011.

Now it's my turn... have you ever heard of percentages? I'm thrilled the tech market grew at such a large rate... but in your original post, you have still made a false statement (misleading at best.)

The city of Augusta can become the #1 high tech market in Georgia and still have less overall jobs compared to Atlanta..

I'm positive nobody except for you actually thought I was comparing the raw numbers of both cities..

And I'm positive only you would have made such a statement...

If you make your own rules, anything is possible...
