Sabre Systems Inc. will be opening an office in Enterprise Mills which is located Downtown, a move which is prompted by the Cyber Command. The Pennsylvania based technology company will open this summer. This is the contractor in the last 2 months to announce a move to Augusta.

This is really good news for Augusta! With more defense and hi-tech companies coming to the area, this will create critical mass in downtown Augusta and spur more investment in residential, retail and restaurant space.

In my experience, the military isn't into renovation. They typically use something until they can't anymore and either plow it over and rebuild or auction it off. Or give it away to someone, in the case of some equipment like the RCSO just received.
