I agree and the Evans theatre seems to do good business as well. I really think the area could use more screens for new releases so this will be good thing.

Yes the Regal definitely overcrowded. This new theater will be a welcome addition to the area. There is no way that Regal will turn into a discount theater. Plus this one will offer ameneties that Regal doesnt. I imagine that Regal and possibly Evans will do something to up their game when the new one opens up. But I still expect Regal to be crowded on Friday and Saturday nights mainly due to the fact that area has so many eateries close by.

I don't recall really seeing a lot of gypsies when I go to the Regal but I don't go often. But they will probably end up going to the new on anyway since it will be closer. Basically just a short ride up I-20 for them.

I started patronizing Evans cinemas because the gypsies situation was so bad at Regal.. atleast on Saturday matinees. Maybe they have moved on

Well its been a loooong time since I've been to a Matinee so that's probably why I don't hardly see any when I go.

The Evans theater and the new one are the same company (Georgia Theater Company). Perhaps the Evans one might remodel, but I don't think they'll be too worried about what the new one is doing.
