You can park in any space that isn't reserved, but it is a private deck. There are ads all over the inside saying who to call if you're interested in spaces, so Unisys would have no problem working out a deal. But then they'd have to pay for it themselves, of course.

If you look at the parking situation realistically, a parking deck or lot(s) on Reynolds would only work for businesses along Reynolds. The truth of the matter is no parking deck on Reynolds Street is going to have any effect on the situation on Broad. People -- Americans in particular -- are not going to park 2 streets away from Broad to go to lunch. If they were willing, the new deck built for the TEE Center would be full every day, but it's not. It's just not the destination (YET) where parking is so in demand that most people would be willing to walk that far for parking.

The old train depot site/watermark property is 6.3 acres and enough room to build a parking deck in the future.

I just figured that that lot would be closer to the part of Broad that needs more parking it but I could be wrong, I need to drive by there.

It's a good thing Augusta will finally have a major parking problem downtown. The CBD is closing in on major growth then.
