Is the cleared land near to Pepperidge just going to be a self storage facility? They put up nice wooden fence around 3 sides of the property and now are putting a sidewalk along US 25.

I have no idea whats going on there. It's been having that Self Storage Coming soon sign for 2 years it seems. And then activity on the property keeps starting and stopping. I noticed the sidewalk the other day but found it odd that they would be adding that for a self storage facility.

The property has become a mystery to myself also. The original plans included a 30 acre new single family neighborhood(Sadie Landing)...

The property may become a self-storage and single family neighborhood.

I remember hearing about that. I'd rather it be residential than storage....that seems like a lot of land just for a Storage facility, especially since there are already so many in the area.

Default Storage Village

I have seen recently that they have now opened up the storage facility and it looks awesome! They also added a police sub-station and its very well lit at night. I believe that this will be a great asset to the community. I'm so glad to see growth coming to South Augusta!

I wonder what they are going to do with the rest of that land? I could see a small apartment complex beside it, or a small subdivision.
