Well, that's an over exaggeration. Of course its not as busy downtown Savannah, but it is nowhere near a ghost town. There are probably more people downtown after 6pm from my observations. Although you wouldn't really know would you, as you don't live in Augusta, and apparently doesn't visit often. You've been misinformed. Thanks for the opinion though.

That's good, but you're describing what it was like in downtown Savannah in summer 1970. Lots of water under the bridge since then, Norton (Diana Ross was at the top of the charts). Augusta's downtown won't catch up with Savannah or Charleston, but it could be a downtown Greenville one day. It's big enough to support that kind of downtown area.
