According to this news report from NBC 26 the new grocer will be 36,000 sq ft. This size is typical for a specialized grocer like Trader Joe's or Sprout's.
Possible new grocer coming to West Augusta

That's actually a good bit larger than those tend to be. Trader Joe's average 10-12K sqft. Sprouts in the 28-30K range. 36K sqft would be in Vons' range, though.

Von's, a subsidiary of Safeway, and now of Albertson's, is dominant in southern California and southern Nevada. It would be interesting to see Albertson's consider a significant expansion across the southeastern United States through its own banners or through the acquisition of an existing market participant.

This store will be Lidl. The planned store size is 36,170 sq ft.
