looking to relocate to Georgia - reviewing options in the Augusta area and in looking at this forum

there is a lot of mention about Grovetown and Columbia County being great!

My question are there "B" areas that are up and coming and possibly cheaper than the two mentioned

areas -

Work is not an issue as I work remotely from anywhere -

You can find affordable parts of Columbia County, especially if you you go more rural like Harlem and Appling. You can also find some older sudvisions in Martinez where you can probably find some good deals on a fixer-upper. Outside of Columbia County, I would recommend North Augusta, SC, Aiken, SC.. and Edgefield is also very nice.

Waynesboro, Burke County is a very up and coming small community about 30 miles south of Augusta. If you want a rural area, try Wrens, Jefferson County or very rural the Washington County side, it is about 40 miles southwest of Augusta area.
