My family is relocating to the Evans/Martinez area and are looking to rent a house for a year or two before buying. We have a german shepherd who is an emotional service animal for my husband who is on permanent disability. We are just starting to contact realtors mostly through email and the first questions they ask are about pets and the breed. As soon as we say german shepherd they no longer respond to us, not very professional. I understand a lot of places have breed restrictions and I understand why. Unfortunately for responsible dog owners like us it stinks! My dog is trained, never outside alone and my husband is home all day with him. Any suggestions?????
