Obviously if they cancelled the new store last year they’re not going to move in 2020. The whole reason Earthfare was moving from Martinez to Evans, was because Fresh Market cancelled their Evans store.

If Sprouts and Whole Foods opened in West Augusta, then why would Fresh Market moved to Evans. Obviously, West Augusta is closer to more disposable income than Evans.

https://www.facebook.com/WholeAugust...03133913177444 did not state it was going to be an entirely new store though.
And yes I can see them potentially moving for a number of reasons.
#1 The Masters probably would like to purchase the property.
#2 The demographics is gradually changing in that area.

That article is about Earthfare replacing the cancelled Fresh Market. It doesn’t even mention Fresh Market except for saying the plans fell through.

The ANGC is not purchasing National Hills. The demographics in that area is not changing by the ANGC buying up some older neighborhoods. In fact their construction is making real estate prices go up. The most expensive house in metro Augusta is literally across the street from ANGC.

Well, we know what most of them are anyway. I’m sure you’ll come up with more. Don’t know who “Brent Douglass” is, though.

I am not really surprised with EarthFare closing nationwide. I went once and just was not impressed. People in this area will support a good upscale organic grocery if located in the right location and done well. I would be happy with a Trader Joe's and hope they have plans to come. This is a growing area. I am surprised Whole Foods failed but understand it was more abut the location than the overall market. What will happen to the Earthfare they were building in Evans? Please tell me a TRader Joe's opens there instead!

Are you referring to that house that they put up for sale back in 2018 for $15,000,000 that's still has not sold according to zillo even though they have dropped the price down to 5.9 million?

It was listed around the last week of December. $6 million is still $4.5-$5 million over the $1-1.5 million home found in Evans.

Ahh so it is the same one.
Well it will be interesting to see what price it eventually sales for and how many more years it takes them to sale it.
